January 23rd 2023: Amtrak is holding a hiring event tomorrow in Downtown Seattle the event starts at 9 am and runs to 4 pm. The location is at the Renaissance Hotel and walk in applicants are welcome. So if you have ever dreamed about working on a passenger train service here is your chance.
Amtrak recently announced plans to increase service from Portland to Seattle as well as in areas all over the country because of increased funding under the approved transportation bill.
